We fly into Orlando / Sanford about 8 times a year and always try to get our car from Alamo. The staff is always friendly and efficient. We are usually in and out of their door in less than 10 minutes. This time there was no line and it only took 5 minutes. We also like the fact that we can pick any car in the class we paid for. On our last two trips we needed a mini-van and the lot attendant clued us onto the Caravan GT as they have a navigation system. Hat's off to Alamo, our favorite for now!
We vacation in Orlando every year to see the theme parks. This year we just went to get away. Alamo made our get away extremely special!!! The staff was very friendly and one of the staff members even remembered us from 2 yrs ago. Wow!!! They even told us that because we were loyal customers we would receive an upgraded (sports) car. We actually got to ride around in a car that was a dream car of mine!!! I must say Alamo, you have made me one happy, and lifetime customer. Thanks!!!
The worst experience. Rented from them once before without problems but this recent rental experience was awful. I was given different quotes,told to rebook online at the counter with "what ever website you found that on" then the employee started talking Spanish to another worker immediately after saying that to me, WHY? Later due to a flight change I needed to switch my drop off location and was told it would be an additional $520 on top of the $250 I was already paying for the car. I will never rent from Alamo again .I am someone who would rather pay a higher price for good customer service than go with a company that doesn't care about the customer however this was a complete joke.
Rented a car at 10pm last night. No one from Alamo checked over the car before we left. Got on the highway and realized the tire low pressure light was on. It was dark and late and we are unfamiliar with area so we drove straight to house. Woke up this morning and realized tire was completely flat. Tried calling the 1-800 number and the location directly. They passed the blame around and wanted to charge us $100 for someone to put a spare tire on. Got disconnected from second call and no one ever returned. Would never recommend this place. Terrible customer service. Very unprofessional.
This was my 2nd time renting from Alamo. The staff is pleasant and happy to assist you. The vehicle was clean and ready to go. Check-in was easy and quick. The only issue was small and that was that the vehicle selection was limited for the class I chose. I would recommend them and rent from them again.
