Store was clean and organized. Although it seems the select of items grows smaller each year. I miss the old fashioned hardware store.
in a discussion with an upset customer but instead of the Lowe’s employee being professional he was rude and arrogant to that person as I watch the conversation take place you could see the customer was getting more and more upset but instead of the employee handling it When the customer ask for Corporate headquarters number and the store manager the Employee refused to write down the information he refused to give him the store managers name he refused to give the district managers name as I heard this conversation I pushed my cart aside and said to myself I will not deal with a store like this if this is how they treat customers, so I left. hopefully this customer called the main office like he’s Was going to do and reported this incident. thumbs up to you Customer if you did good luck
Was at Lowe’s today in Sanford Fl as I was checking out I saw a gentleman who appeared to be a supervisor or a manager (with a name tag Vincent)
This store sucks. Cashier that was dealing with me left her cash register to go help out another cashier at the time that I'm ready to go ahead and cash out. She did not excused herself nor did she come back. I will never visit Lowe's stores again you can believe that.
11/4/2017 Went to Lowe’s in Sanford Florida to pick up some fencing I had previously called two other Lowe’s and they told me that Sanford had 56 in stock. on the way to the store I tried calling that store in Sanford and I was put on hold for more than 15 minutes I arrived at the store and I was still on hold I approach the lady at the register and told her I was there to pick up some fence panels she told me they are out of them, but some panels were being held for other customers I had told her I had contacted another store who check their stock and said that Sanford had 56 in stock I then asked to speak to a manager she told me there was none available but there was an assistant manager ,(Vincent )when the assistant manager showed up he never even introduced himself the first thing he said was what can I do for you ( very unprofessional ) I proceeded to tell Vincent what the problem was his first reaction was well too bad, I don’t have any fencing the fencing they told you I had is being held for someone else and they’re supposed to get it today. so I asked him there procedure how do they handle items that are listed in the inventory but not for sale his answer was “don’t know what the tell you” that’s just the way it is. so I asked to speak to a store manager he said there is no store manager nobody here but me. so I asked for the manager’s name he refused to give it to me I asked for the regional directors name he refused to give it to me finally as the conversation went on he gave me their first names I asked him to write it down he refused to write it down I asked him for the corporate phone number he refused to write that number down when he finally gave in and wrote the information down he only gave me first names and the wrong number to corporate. it’s so sad to think that a company like Lowes would have somebody like him in a management position, shame on you Lowe’s for treating customers that way.
I prefer Home Depot over Lowe's because there are never any salespeople to help at Lowe's. So this time I got all the info on the internet first. But they number their aisles so strangely I still couldn't find the products. And of course, couldn't find an employee anywhere to help. Eventually after walking the length of the store three times, I found my products.
I am a business owner and if any of my employees ever treated a customer like Vincent treated me they would be looking for a new job, Probably at Lowe’s.
