I’m sorry to say this Ace is the worst I have been to. Ace has always had the saying of being the “helpful” hardware store but I find them to be anything but. The employees seem like they could care less and the store never has anything I need. Rather than having obvious hardware essentials, their store seems to be stocked with trinkets and gift shop junk. I am most disappointed by the lack luster staff. The combination of unfriendly, seemingly lazy, staff and empty/un-stocked shelves will not have me coming back. I used to frequent this location but maybe they have changed owners.
Great place, very nice customer service. It's quiet prices are very fair. Im guessing it's one of the last mom and pop run stores in the area. But they ALWAYS have a smile. Willing to help and answer the phone. If you are looking for anything they will quickly help you find it.
After the hurricane my husband and I went here to try to get more generator oil. Their power was out but the owner/manager/ someone was standing at the door doing their best to give people what they needed. It was a HUGE act of kindness! They didn't have the generator oil but we appreciated their efforts and generosity to the public during an extreme time of need! Thank you ACE! Top notch!!
